The Afghanistan's first transit cargo arrived to Turkey through Lapis Lazuli Route.
A few days ago the Afghanistan's first transit convoy with Afghan plate numbers departed to Turkey under the TIR,Car-net system and through Lapis Lazuli Route. Passing through several countries including Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Georgia; the convoy finally arrived to Artoin custom, Turkey.
According to Lapis Lazuli agreement, the mentioned Afghan trucks are to transport imported goods from Turkey to Afghanistan in accordance to TIR convention.
